MSSA recently took part in the first partners’ meeting for the Erasmus+ “VR BMX Freestyle” project, held in Ljubljana, Slovenia — marking the beginning of an exciting journey into the future of BMX education, coaching, and athlete development through virtual reality.
We are proud to be collaborating with an inspiring international team, including Pannonian Challenge (Croatia), Simple Session (Estonia), JB Ride (France), and Foton (Slovenia). Together, we aim to develop a VR-based BMX learning tool that combines structured training programmes with essential knowledge on bike maintenance, skatepark etiquette, and accessible ways for new riders to get involved in the sport.
This innovative project represents a new approach to engaging the BMX community and supporting skill development through technology. As the project progresses, we look forward to bringing these tools and experiences to Malta, helping to grow the local BMX scene and create new opportunities for riders of all levels. Stay tuned for more updates as this journey unfolds. 🚲🙌 This project is co funded by the European Union 🇪🇺
