As many of you know, this year we were supposed to organise Street Idols Street Sport festival but unfortunatley it had to be postponed due to COVID-19, but that didnt stop us! So on the 24th of October we decided to orgainse a workshop at the Bugibba Skatepark where with a number of youths we started building one of the many ramps that were meant to be built for the festival. Throughout the workshop we explained the basic steps needed to plan building a ramp and also included them in the actual building.
It was great sight to see youths come together and enjoy a days work on something they will be using themselves, expecially during these covid-19 times where it very hard to organise any activities. This workshop marked the begining of a big change that is coming in our local scene, in the near future we will be organising other workshops to continue building more ramps at both the Bugibba Skatepark and also the Selmun Family Park.
