What a fantastic night we had on Friday 5th July during Lejla Sajfija – a community event organised by Infrastructure Malta in collaboration with the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works to celebrate the upgrade of Saint Thomas Bay in Marsaskala.
The highlight of the night was the unveiling of the new graffiti wall, a stunning mural by the talented local artist Cooker and his crew. What was once a dull concrete wall is now a vibrant work of art – full of colour, culture, and nostalgia. We are so proud to have been part of this project, turning a public space into a canvas of Maltese identity and creativity.
Together with our partners at the Malta Skateboarding Association and Rush Parkour, we also hosted a Street Sport Show that brought energy and excitement to the bay. With ramps set up and youth rolling in with their bikes, skateboards, and scooters, the night was full of movement, expression, and positive vibes.
Special thanks go to Minister Chris Bonett, Infrastructure Malta CEO Steve Ellul, and Christian Attard, whose collaboration and vision helped bring this all together.
Events like this show what happens when public spaces, sport, and art come together to build stronger, more connected communities.
We’re honoured to have played a role and can’t wait to return with more events that celebrate youth, movement, and creativity.
