Come Join us on the 26th of July at Zonqor point. The bicycle parade will give participants a voice to demand urgent action on climate change, and shall promote cycling as a healthy and sustainable mode of transportation. This event is being organised by the Marsascala Residents Network in collaboration with MOVE, ROTA, Moviment Graffitti, Malta Streets Sports Association Malta Skateboarding Assocation and the French Embassy in Malta.
We will be meeting at Zonqor Point between 7.30 pm and 8.00 pm. The parade will start at 8.00 pm and we will cycle together around Marsascala. At 9.00 pm we will meet again at Zonqor Point for a community gathering where we will be screening the short film “Women don’t cycle”.
During the bicycle parade, We and the MSA – Malta Skateboarding Association will be setting up a temporary skatepark inside the Żonqor car park to promote the need for free public spaces that cater for youth to be physically active through sports like BMX, skateboarding , scooter and more.
