We recently had the pleasure of hosting our project partners in Malta for the first official meeting of our ongoing initiative, Take Action for ADHD. Funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme, this project is focused on exploring how we can better support young people living with various forms of ADHD—by understanding their challenges and developing innovative, sport-based approaches to help them manage symptoms more effectively.
The core goal of the project is to design a dedicated training programme built around action sports such as BMX, Skateboarding, and Parkour. These disciplines, known for their creative expression and focus-driven nature, offer unique benefits for improving concentration, self-confidence, and emotional regulation—key areas that can positively impact individuals with ADHD.
More than just physical activity, we believe that sport is a powerful tool for inclusion and belonging. Through this initiative, we aim to create environments where young people with ADHD feel empowered, supported, and part of a vibrant, welcoming community.
We’re excited for what’s ahead—stay tuned for more updates as Taking Action on ADHD progresses!
