United Through Urban Sports Festival

We are excited to be hosting the United Through Urban Sports Festival Next Month. Get Ready for a weekend packed full of fun in Various Sports, such as BMX, Skateboarding, Scooter, 3×3 Basket, Parkour and more.This event is part of the Erasmus+ Sports Project called United Through Urbans Sports, Together with us, the Partners in this Project are Budapest Association for International Sports (lead partner) and Hall of Parkour Hungary from Hungary, LEAP Sports from Scotland and Sport Evolution Alliance Portugal.

As for the local partners of this event, We have also Colloborated with the Birzebbuga Local Council, Malta Trust Foundation, Agenzija Zghazagh, Leap Squad Malta, Elementi, Street Elements Hip Hop, The Malta Skateboarding Assocation and more to be announced later. We would like to thank all the partners for their contribution and we cant wait to see this sports festival come together. We will also be working with Good Friend and Top Graffiti Artist Glenn Cauchi aka Cooker and his team to give the skatepark a whole new look for the event and locals using it on the daily. This will be a FREE Event but competition participants would need to pay a €5 registration fee each person for any of the competitions.

The Plan For the Weekend.

Friday 16th September

Friday: Practice Day

4:00pm – 9:00pm – Free Practice for all sports.

Saturday 17th September

SkatePark Area

4:00pm-4.30pm: Scooter Warm Up

4:30pm-5:30 pm: Scooter Comp

5.30pm-6.00 pm: Skate Warm Up

6.00-7.00pm: Skate Comp

7.00-7.30pm: BMX Warm Up

7.30-8.30pm: BMX Comp

8.30-9.00pm: Awards for Winners ceremony. 

3×3 Basket Area:

4:00pm – 6.00pm: Try Outs

6.00pm – 9.00pm: Warm Up Competitions (Free flowing)

Parkour Area:

4:00pm-6.00pm: Try Outs

6.00pm-9.00pm: Warm Up Competitions (Free flowing)


Street Workout:

4:00pm-8.00pm: Try Outs

Breaking Area:

4:00pm-8.00pm: Dance Battel

Sunday 18th September

3×3 Basket Area:

4.00pm-5.00pm: Warm Ups

6.00pm-8.30pm: 3×3 Competitions.

8.30-9.00pm: Awards for Winners ceremony

Parkour Area:

4.00pm-5.00pm: Warm Ups

6.00pm-8.30pm: Parkour Competitions.

8.30-9.00pm: Awards for Winners ceremony. 

Skatepark Area:

4.00-5.30 : Scooter Try Outs

5.30-7.00 : Skate Try Outs

7.00-8.30: BMX Try Outs

Breaking Area:

4:00pm-8.00pm: Dance Battel

We will be releasing more information on the schedule above but we wanted to give you all an idea on what to expect. We are looking forward to hosting this event, it has been a long time coming after covid and expect this event to be a yearly event happening all over Malta.
