We’re thrilled to announce that registration for the Urban Sports Festival is now open! Whether you’re into BMX, skateboarding, scootering, Panna, 3×3 Basketball, Parkour, or Breaking, there’s something for everyone.

Dates: September 20-22
Location: Pretty Bay, Birzebbuga

What to Expect:

  • Competitions: Get ready for some intense action in BMX, skateboarding, scooter, Panna, 3×3 Basketball, Parkour, and Breaking. Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines, the energy will be high.
  • Try-Out Sessions: Curious about trying out a new sport? We’re offering sessions where kids and beginners can experience the thrill of these urban sports firsthand.
  • New Additions to the Skatepark: This year, we’re excited to introduce a new ramp and a custom-built rail, designed to add more excitement to the festival.
  • Community & Culture: The festival is more than just sports—it’s about coming together and celebrating the urban sports community.

4.30pm – 5.30pm – Registration (Wristbands Collection)

 

Skatepark Area / Basketball Court:

5.30pm – 6.30pm: Game of Scoot (Skatepark)

6.30pm – 7.30pm Game of Bike Group B (Skatepark)

6.30pm – 7.30pm Game of Skate Flat Group B (Basket Ball Court)

7.30pm – 8.30pm Game of Bike Group A (Skatepark) 

7.30pm – 8.30pm Game of Skate Flat Group A (Basket Ball Court)

 

Dance Area:

7:00pm – 10:00pm – Open Cyphers to all Styles.

Cypher King / Cypher Queen Award

What is a Cypher king / Queen?
Cypher king/Queen are 2 Awards (one for male & one for female) that determines who is the most dancer that performs during the night.

 

9.00pm – Closing of Day with Winners Presentation

10.00pm – Rap Artists / open mic / hiphop Party (Skatepark)

Panna Area (Basketball Court)
4.30pm – 7.00pm Panna 1v1 Under 18 Competition

6.00pm – 9.00pm Hip-Hop & Breakdance Open Workshops/trials

Under 18 Participants need to have the form signed by their Parent/Guardian. Form can be downloaded below.


If you are Under 17, you must get your Parent/Gurdain to sign this form on Friday or Download Below.
If you are a team for the 3x3 Basket Competition, please select yes and enter details. Minimum 3-4 Players

If you are under 17, your parent will be required to sign the physical concent form on Friday 29th Sep or you can download it below and get it with you signed. 

People Registering for Try Out sessions in BMX/Skateboarding/Scooter will require their own equipment and Helmet, they will be allowed to use the skatepark on Sunday with our coaches available to assist them with anything they would like to learn. Same goes for Parkour on Saturday, anyone who wishes to try parkour can do so on the day with our coaches assisting them. All other try-out sessions will have the equipment provided.

By Signing, I agree with the following terms and conditions.

In consideration for being allowed to participate in any way in the Uraban Sports Festival, you acknowledge and covenant that you have read and consent to the following by ticking the “Yes, I agree with the following terms and conditions”:

You agree to be bound by the regulations of this event and agree to implicitly follow the instructions of the staff and volunteers organising the festival.

You declare that you are medically fit to partake in the activities of the Urban Sports Festival, whether it is for trying out a sport or competing in one.

In case of competition registration, a €5 registration fee per competition day will be collected on the first day of the event from each participant. In the event of any entrant not competing in the event, the entry fee remains non-refundable.

You confirm that you have not taken and not taking any illegal substances in terms of the relevant WADA list and you shall remain responsible and in virtue of the present.

You agree to assume all risks associated with their participation in the Urban Sports Festival. You agree to HOLD HARMLESS, RELEASE, DEFEND, AND INDEMNIFY of the Urban Sports Festival project team and organizing committee (MSSA) and all associated partner organizations, the Event venue, the owners, volunteers, operators, contractors, and employees of said companies, and their affiliated organizations and companies, insurance carriers, parents, agents, representatives, assignees, officers, and directors for ANY AND ALL LIABILITY and claims for any and all injuries or death to persons or damage to property arising from the Participant’s participation in the Event, including those claims based on any Released Party’s alleged or actual NEGLIGENCE or breach of any express or implied WARRANTY. In the case of a minor participant, the minor participant’s parent or legal guardian acknowledges that they are also agreeing to this Liability Waiver on behalf of the minor participant and that the minor participant shall be bound by all the terms of this agreement.

Photo and video materials will be recorded for the purposes of facilitating the dissemination process of the festival. You accept that this material will be shared online and on project relevant social and conventional media.
